29 Realistic Things All First Time Parents Need for Newborns
Since I am now 17-months postpartum with my daughter, I can realistically share what I think are the most necessary items all first-time parents need for their newborn. When crafting our baby registry, I listed a few items on my that I never really used (like a bottle warmer or a bottle sterilizer- these were pointless quite honestly).
Newborns are pretty simple to care for on a fundamental level. No one really needs 10 different brands of bottles or 5 different brands of lotion. Less in more!
Practicing minimalism is key with a newborn, so I hope someone finds this list helpful and insightful on their parenthood journey.
Everything below are items that I actually used (or something similar) and absolutely LOVED!
Thermometer
Babywearing Carrier/Wrap (If you plan to do the- so many benefits!)
Aquafor (Universal Balm for dry skin and great for diaper cream)
All in One Baby Body Wash/Shampoo (sensitive only as a precaution)
