Spike Lee: Creative Sources Exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum in NYC
I remember when I saw “Do The Right Thing” back in college, I went down the rabbit hole of consuming more of Spike Lee’s films, like School Daze and Jungle Fever, to name a few. When I heard the Brooklyn Museum had an exhibit profiling Spike Lee’s personal collection of books, art, and memorabilia, I knew I had to check it out. The exhibit is a curated collection of items that Lee has drawn inspiration from over the years for his films.
The exhibit has been open since October 7th and is up until February 4, 2024. The tickets are $25. At the end of the exhibit, there’s a cute shopping corner with mugs, totes bags, t-shirts, books and more. So if you’re into art, and looking for a fun and vibrant exhibit to check out, definitely give Spike Lee’s exhibit a go!
