Amma’s South Indian Cuisine – Flavor Explosion!

If you love authentic Indian cuisine, Amma’s South Indian Cuisine is a total must-visit. We started with crispy, golden samosas—the perfect mix of crunchy and savory with amazing dipping sauces. Then, we dove into the Chicken Tikka Masala and Shrimp Tikka Masala, both rich, creamy, and packed with just the right amount of spice, which came with a side of white rice. And the Parotta and Roti breads? Absolute perfection—flaky, soft, and ideal for soaking up all that flavorful sauce. And of course we had to do dessert, and we opted for the brownie with vanilla ice cream on the side. If you’re craving bold, delicious flavors, this spot will blow your taste buds away! This place was a 10/10 is you ask me. For drinks, we kept things simple with chardonnay, sauvignon blanc. Can’t go wrong with that. This place was a 10/10.

The Love. – Chic & Cozy Comfort Food

The Love. is THE place for trendy comfort food with a sophisticated twist. First up, I opted for the the Meyer Lemon Risotto—light, creamy, and bursting with citrusy freshness. My husband got the Handmade Ricotta Ravioli and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. And let’s talk about the Burrata Toast—because who can resist creamy burrata on crunchy, perfectly toasted bread? It came with a lovely side of an arugula salad with slices pears and shaved almonds with a tangy sweet balsamic dressing. Now, dessert lovers, prepare yourselves: the ‘Bananas Foster’ Bread Pudding, house-made cookie dough ice cream, and a dreamy chef’s special yellow cake were absolutely to-die-for. Oh, and let’s not forget the cocktails—the Love Potion, sangria and DREAMWEAVER were stunningly crafted and oh-so-sippable. Bonus: our daughter devoured her Brioche Toast, making it a great pick for little ones too! This place was a 10/10!

Oyster House – A Seafood Lover’s Dream

For fresh seafood in Philly, Oyster House is where it’s at. We kicked things off with grilled octopus, which was smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. The Clambake for Two? A seafood feast perfect for two, filled with lobster, mussels, clams, potatoes and corn. Our daughter loved her grilled cheese and fries, proving that even a seafood spot can cater to the whole fam. And to top it all off? The cookies and cream ice cream with brownie bites—sweet, creamy, and the ultimate ending to a seafood feast. For drinks, we kept things simple with chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and an espresso martini. This place was a 10/10.

Konditori – Coffee & Pastry Perfection

No trip is complete without a fab coffee stop, and Konditori was everything I needed. It’s a Swedish Espresso Bar, so of course I ordered the cappuccino and cold brew, which were smooth, strong, and gave me that much-needed caffeine boost I needed in the AM. As for the almond croissant and plain croissant? Buttery, flaky, and just the right amount of indulgent. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or looking for a cute little café to sit and unwind, Konditori is the perfect spot to fuel your day.

Brooklyn Dumpling Shop - Dumpling Heaven!

If you’re a dumpling lover (or just love trying trendy new eats), you have to check out Brooklyn Dumpling Shop! We were heading home and wanted something quick for lunch, so we ordered a few things for take out, so we don’t have any pictures =( But, this spot brings a futuristic twist to classic dumplings with its high-tech, automated ordering system—making the whole experience feel effortlessly cool. I went for the Wagyu Steamed Dumplings and Chicken Steamed Dumplings, and let me tell you… they were next-level delicious! Each bite was packed with juicy, flavorful filling, wrapped in a perfectly soft and delicate dumpling. And that signature sauce? A total game-changer—savory, tangy, and just the right amount of kick. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or looking for a fun, casual foodie stop, Brooklyn Dumpling House is a must-try!
