Crispy Chicken Burger with Spicy Sriracha Aioli
Ground chicken and turkey are staples for my family when it comes to weekly dinners. I wasn’t really in the mood for meatballs, so I felt inspired to whip up a burger with a crunch! I went for the guilt free option with a low carb/keto friendly burger bun, but feel free to use whatever bun you’d like! Here’s a quick recipe to switch up your weekly dinners.
You can follow the steps on this IG reel.
Ingredients
Burger
1 lb ground chicken
Burger bun of choice
1 onion (minced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons Lawry’s all purpose seasoning seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 of olive oil
1/4 shredded carrot
1/2 sliced onion
Aioli
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 teaspoons sriracha
The Process
In a bowl, combine ground chicken, onion and garlic mixture, dry seasoning, egg, then combine.
Add the breadcrumbs and combine.
Begin making the chicken patties (around 5-6) and set aside.
Add the olive oil to the pot and heat up on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.
Begin frying the patties about 3-4 minutes each side until golden brown. Feel free to use a thermometer to ensure inside if fully cooked.
After all the patties are fried, place on paper towel to drain for 2 min.
Place fried chicken patties in the oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes to keep them warm, while you make the aioli.
To make the aioli, combine the mayonnaise and sriracha in a bowl, then mix.
Build your burger with bun, spread aioli on bun, add the chicken patty, onion and carrot on top.
Enjoy!
