Easy 4-Ingredient Artisan Bread
If you’re craving the taste of fresh, homemade bread but want a simple recipe, this 4-ingredient artisan bread is perfect! With just flour, salt, yeast, and water, you can create a beautiful loaf that’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. No kneading required—just a little patience. You’ll Need:
3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp salt
½ tsp active dry yeast
1 ½ cups warm water (around 110°F)
The Process:
Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast. Add warm water and mix until all the flour is incorporated.
Let it Rise: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and a dish towel. Let it sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours (overnight is perfect. That’s what I did.)
Shape the Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface, fold it inward 6-8 times, and shape into a ball. Cover and let rise for 30 more minutes.
Bake: Preheat oven to 450°F. Place dough on parchment, score, and put in an oven safe pot. I used “The Perfect Pot” from Our Place. Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake 10 more minutes until golden brown.
